Julièttè Rose Luisa Schäfer was born on May 11, 1996, to Klaus Sommerfeldt and Janerra Schäfer in Berlin, Germany at 11:25 a.m. She was the oldest of two half-brothers and a half-sister. The young girl lived in Germany for three years before her mother decided to end relations with her father, and as a result, Klaus "lost custody" of his daughter for several unspoken reasons. After her father moved to South Carolina, USA, Julièttè and her mother relocated to Italy.By age 4, Julièttè became the oldest daughter and quickly learned the whereabouts of her father, who just welcomed his new baby girl, Crystal, from another family. From that point onward, Julièttè's world began to spiral out of control, unable to accept no longer being the only girl in the family.

After dawning on the reality of her life, Julièttè continued to focus on her academics and found a heavy interest in tennis around middle school. Reigning with leadership skills, the blonde began pursuing her middle school career by participating in tennis for the athletic community.However, her family believed she was too pretty to be an athlete. Truly, the young woman had the face of a model, and her mother would make her oldest daughter live vicariously through that unspoken dream. Around 14 years, Julièttè was offered a contract under several High Fashion companies, and although torn, she eventually decided to take the path of a runaway fashion model.

Julièttè became a rising sensation in the fashion industry for nearly a year. Many judges described her to be the IT girl, possessing an indescribable personality which made her unique and bold. It was difficult to miss her overall person as the young girl had the ego of a lioness.

Unfortunately, the life of the young woman tragically ended in a fate that could have very well been prevented. Her life was going expeditiously well considering how young she had been, but Death came knocking on her door at the tender age of fourteen years, and it would happen during the reunion of a broken family.On August 01, 2010, Julièttè's life and innocence were taken away from her by none other than Brandon Asher MacNera at Dawn Lake, located in South Carolina. What should have been a bonding moment for Julièttè and her younger sister, Crystal, became a bloody nightmare and the closing of the Summer Camp. After hours of searching for the missing young woman, who was once adored and loved by many, the discovery became unreal.

Slain and beaten to death, young Julièttè suffered from a fractured skull as her head was smashed against a boulder rock several times. Thirteen stab wounds were located in the middle of her back, right by her spine. It was later revealed that Julièttè defended herself in an attempt to escape Brandon's possession as his neck had been sliced with a blade. Julièttè's mother said she would have fought until her very last breath- and she did.Julièttè's body was found floating in a pond at approximately 9:15 P.M. Medical examiners determined she died by the fracturing of the skull and was raped. Within weeks of harassing ten-year-old Crystal, after finding out that she snitched on him, Brandon died in a car accident, intoxicated at the wheel.
